# Free PAT Testing Register (UK)

A portable appliance testing register for UK businesses that test their own equipment or want a clean record of what a contractor has tested. Type the item and its reference fills itself in (PAT-0001, PAT-0002 and so on), tick the appliance class and the inspections done, and mark it pass or fail. Enter the date tested and a review period in months and the next review date works itself out, so nothing quietly falls out of date. The tick cells carry short tips so whoever fills it in knows what each one means. The register follows the structure of the IET Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, so it sits comfortably alongside how testing is actually recorded. It is free to download and reuse across every site.
