Free Receipt Template (UK)
A simple receipt for confirming money you have received, for any UK small business, sole trader or club. It is clearly marked PAID, records who paid, what for and how, and totals itself so the amount is never in doubt. Give it to a customer as proof of payment, keep a copy for your records, and you have a clean paper trail without buying software. It is deliberately different from an invoice: a receipt confirms money already received, whereas an invoice requests payment, so reach for the free invoice template when you need to ask to be paid. Enter the details in the blue cells, note the payment method, and you are done. It is free to download and reuse as often as you need.
