AI Use Policy
We believe in being open about how we use artificial intelligence. This policy explains how AI is used on the lwbc.ltd website and in our work, and the safeguards we apply.
How we use AI on this website
Our enquiry tool uses an AI model to read the description of your business problem and produce an indicative concept (a plain-English sketch of what we might build) and an indicative estimate (an early guide to cost and timescale). This helps you get a quick, useful starting point before we speak.
What the AI does, and does not, receive
We do not send your personal details to the AI. Your name, email address, phone number, and business name are kept separate and are never included in the information sent to the AI model. The AI receives only the description of your problem and requirements, so it can suggest a concept. Your identifying details are used only by us, to contact you and keep our records.
AI output is indicative, not definitive
Anything the AI produces is an early sketch to start a conversation. It is not a quote, a promise, a specification, or a contract. Concepts, prices, timescales, and any estimated savings are illustrative and are always confirmed properly by a human, in writing, before any work begins. AI can make mistakes, and we review its output ourselves.
Pricing is calculated by us, not invented by AI
The AI helps us understand and categorise your problem. The actual prices shown are calculated by our own system from fixed rules; they are not generated freely by the AI.
Human oversight
A real person reviews every enquiry. We do not make any final decision about your project, or any commitment to you, by automated means alone.
The AI providers we use
We use AI services provided by Anthropic. The non-personal problem description you submit is processed to generate the concept. We choose providers that handle data responsibly.
Our use of AI in building software
We use AI-assisted tools to help us design and build software efficiently. All work is reviewed, tested, and hardened by us before it is delivered, and we remain responsible for the quality and security of what we build.
